Oregon Morning Mitts

These are the Maine Morning Mitts by Clara Parkes. I've made about six or seven pairs of these so far and each recipient has been pleased with them. Thanks to Felicity for being a hand model!

The pattern is available free on Ravelry.

Any fairly bulky one-ply seems to be working well. Mods: knit the cuff for five inches before beginning the thumb gusset; pick up six sts around the top of the thumb hole; knit the thumb a little longer than suggested; [added: EZ Sewn Casting-off].

I can easily see how everyone would be pleased to get these little mitts. They're very cute and functional.

Those are beautiful, Jen! I'm tickled 13 shades of pink that you've knit so many, and that they made your friends happy. Have a wonderful New Year!

Hi Jen - Thank you for your comment on my blog.

Your Oregon Morning Mitts looks lovely and what a beutifull Blue Hornet you have made.

And you have made so many fantastic mittens. I love them all, especially your Charity Mittens.

Have a nice Sunday.
